Welcome to “Mikes Custom Scales” we restore 100 year old cast iron  Dayton and Toledo candy/mercantile scales to working condition. We have the unrestored Dayton and Toledo scales in stock. We use high grade automotive paint for the body color and striping, all brass or nickel parts are polished, we use graphic designed decals, chart replacement if needed, and your choice of brass, nickel or painted pan. The customer can choose the  body color and striping color. We also offer upgrades such as brass or painted scale stands as well as highlights on the brass parts. As you browse through my pics of past completed Dayton and Toledo  restored scales understand we can re- create any scale viewed.  The restoration time varies depending on our restoration calendar most restorations are 4 to 6 weeks. Once completed I send the customer pics for approval. Once approved I will ship  via UPS. Toledo scale  base price $2000, Dayton large badge scale $2300, Dayton small badge scale $2150, Dayton IBM scale $2500, Themed scale $2250. Shipping cost $150.
